Dr. Kristen McQuerry - Director of the ASL

Kristen earned her Bachelors (2004) and Master’s (2005) degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Kentucky.  After four years of teaching high school Mathematics, Kristen returned to UK for her Master’s (2012) degree in Statistics and her PhD (2016) in Statistics.  Kristen is the Director for the Applied Statistics Lab and has served in this capacity since April 2016. Her duties include having consultations, experimental design, data analysis, and statistical programming.  Prior to this position, she worked as the ASL project manager and a statistical consultant for the College of Agriculture, food, and Environment.

Dr. Joshua Lambert
Josh obtained his Bachelors (2009), and Master’s (2010) degree  in Mathematics from Murray State University and an additional Master’s degree in Statistics (2014)  from the University of Kentucky. In 2017 Josh recieved his Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Kentucky. He has taught introductory mathematics and statistics courses as a Lecturer at Murray State University and Eastern Kentucky University. Currently, he works as a research assistant professor for the Department of Statistics at the University of Kentucky.  His duties include having statistical consultations for  data analysis, experimental design, biomedical informatics, data visualization, and statistical software. He also works closely with Kentucky Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network (KBRIN) on related projects across the state of Kentucky and projects with University of Kentucky Healthcare.

Candace Brancato
Candace J Brancato, M.S., is the Statistical Programming Manager within the Department of Statistics and DATAQUeST. As the programming manager her primary roles include support for statistical design, data analysis, data management and statistical programming. Prior to coming to UK, Candace served as a senior statistician in the pharmaceutical industry, performing analysis and SAS programming for disease and product registries ranging in size from 200 to 20,000 patients.
