In this ever-increasing data rich society, the demand for individuals who can handle data and create visualizations has become a necessity. Our online Master of Applied Statistics will bolster educators’ confidence in teaching AP Statistics and demonstrating its need in today’s market place, while qualifying candidates for a rank change. In additional, our program’s data analytic experience will help math teachers work with real data and provide unique examples which can be utilized in the classroom.
The Dr. Bing Zhang Department of Statistics have been in contact with the Education Professional Standards Boards and has verified that an individual who completes the online Master of Applied Statistics (MAS) program will qualify for a rank change if he or she holds a certificate in Mathematics. Please be advised that upon completion of this degree, a candidate is required to submit a CA-1 application.
The Applied Statistics program is authorized to provide online/distance education for students in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the Virgin Islands.
