Analyze This: UK Stats Lab Open for Business

With the help of the Office of the Vice President for Research, several UK college deans and infrastructure grants such as the university's recent Clinical and Translational Science Award, UK statisticians in the departments of Statistics and Biostatistics opened UK's first Applied Statistics Lab, which they hope will be the new face of statistical analysis on campus.

Professor Jeremy Popkin Wins American History Association Book Prize

On October 24, 2011, UK history professor Jeremy Popkin was named as the 2011 recipient of the American History Association (AHA) J. Russell Major Prize for the best book in early modern French history. His award-winning winning book – “You Are All Free: The Haitian Revolution and the Abolition of Slavery” – was published by Cambridge University Press in 2010.
